The Alpha School of Music held its annual 'Upward & Onward' end-of-year graded performance May 16, 2024 in the Alpha Courtyard. Associate Degree in Music Performance students were joined by ensembles from the pre-qualification programme and special appearances by drummer and Alpha Senior Music Instructor, Clayon Samuels and the newest member of the Alpha faculty, percussionist, vocalist and Music Technology Lecturer, Ricardo Diaz.
Featuring a wide range of musical styles including ska, rocksteady dub, RnB, pop, soca from Trinidad and son montuno from Cuba, Upward & Onward was a lovely journey that showcased the musical depth and breadth of the Alpha music programme. Enjoy!
